I always viewed blogging as a channel to relieve myself from the never-ending thoughts tumbling through my mind but let's be real, I realized in the end that I wrote posts that were a concoction of who I wanted to be in the eye of the public. Yes, they were genuine but it wasn't all of me. The posts only painted small fragments of what my whole life entailed. I fought internally about whether the posts were for me or for the satisfaction of those who read, and maybe that's why I stopped.
So why am I still blogging? Because in the end, what I write is about me--my feelings, my thoughts, my experiences--and no one can say otherwise. They can give input but what I write is my view, my perspective. And I think that life is about sharing with others the joys and the hurts, the realizations and the questions, the praises and the complaints that we encounter on a day to day basis. We choose to invite people into our lives and that's why I chose to write. I might not write eloquently or sophisticatedly but hey, this is me.
Haha so welcome to the intricate mind of Stacey Lee. Beware, my friends would tell you that you've entered dangerous zone :)
